Several programs at BCED offer paid consulting opportunities that give graduate students real-world experience working on projects and internships with organizations in the Twin Cities community. Please read the description for each consulting opportunity and apply for that which is of greatest interest. Now accepting applications for Fall 2012 Student Consulting Projects for MTAP for Nonprofits, Growth Accelerator Program, and Community Health Initiative!

 

Consult with Small Businesses The Growth Accelerator Program (GAP) matches graduate students with local small businesses for a year-long consulting project. Each student spends a total of 100 hours working with the business owner, a professional advisor, and other graduate students to assist the business in its growth industry.		Consult with Nonprofit Organizations MTAP for Nonprofits offers graduate and professional students a paid opportunity to consult with a local community-based nonprofit organizations on semester-long projects. Each project employs a team of one to three students and requires a time commitment of 50-60 hours per student over the course of the term. Applications for Fall Term are due September 14, 2012.		Intern or consult with Public Health Organizations The Community Health Initiative (CHI) matches public health and social service nonprofit organizations and small businesses with graduate students in nursing and other public health programs for semester-long, paid consulting projects and summer internships. Scholarships are available.
