Career Expo
The
expo provides a valuable resource and networking tool
for community residents, emerging small businesses, and
general contractors. It provides opportunities for business
owners and job candidates to meet key personnel in the
construction industry. The expo has three components:
career fair/exhibit area, seminars, and informational
interviews. This forum promotes partnering, networking,
and joint ventures between prime contractors, targeted
businesses, and community-based construction training
organizations. It also provides job candidates with information
about job skills, training programs, tuition assistance,
transportation, and interviewing opportunities.
