The objective of Supplier Diversity Services is to increase the number of purchasing and construction opportunities at the University provided to businesses owned and controlled by women, people of color, and people with disabilities. Efforts are focused on increasing contracting opportunities for these companies in areas such as construction, professional services, and supply/material purchases.

Small-Business Development Program

This program focuses on linking businesses owned by women, people of color, and people with disabilities with potential business or contract opportunities at the University. The program promotes these companies throughout the institution and strategically positions them within the supply chain process. To facilitate internal and external access to these vendors and contractors for solicitation purposes, an electronic supplier database consisting of more than 1,200 people of color, women, and people with disabilities is available online.
