From the north, proceeding south on 35W:

1. Take Exit #18, 4th St-University Ave exit. Cross Fourth Street SE; turn left on University Ave SE.
2. Drive 9 blocks to the University Avenue Parking Ramp on right side of street.
3. Take ramp elevator to tunnel or street level. Follow signs to the alumni center, the copper building adjacent to the ramp.

From airport:

1. Take I-494 to I-35W North.
2. Take Exit #18, 4th St-University Ave exit. Keep right at fork in ramp and merge onto University Ave SE.
3. Drive 9 blocks to the University Avenue Parking Ramp on right side of street.
4. Take ramp elevator to tunnel or street level. Follow signs to the alumni center, the copper building adjacent to the ramp.

From the east or west on I94:

1. Take University of Minnesota/Huron Boulevard Exit #235B.
2. Follow Huron Boulevard two blocks to Washington Avenue and turn left.
3. At second light, Oak Street, turn right.
4. Drive 3 blocks to 4th Street SE and turn left on 4th Street (one-way).
5. Drive 2 blocks to 18th Avenue SE and turn left on 18th Avenue.
6. Drive 1 block to University Avenue SE and turn left on University (one-way).
7. Immediately get into right lane; drive 1-1/2 blocks to University Avenue Parking Ramp on right.
8. Take ramp elevator to tunnel or street level. Follow signs to the alumni center, the copper building adjacent to the ramp.

From downtown Minneapolis:

1. Take Fourth Street east toward St. Paul. Fourth Street becomes Washington Avenue.
2. Follow Washington Avenue to Oak Street and turn left on Oak Street.
3. Drive 3 blocks to 4th Street SE and turn left on 4th Street (one-way).
4. Drive 2 blocks to 18th Avenue SE and turn left on 18th Avenue.
5. Drive 1 block to University Ave SE and turn left on University (one-way).
6. Immediately move into right lane; drive 1-1/2 blocks to University Avenue Parking Ramp on right.
7. Take ramp elevator to tunnel or street level. Follow signs to the alumni center, the copper building adjacent to the ramp.

Note: From downtown Minneapolis, you also may travel south on Sixth Street to I-94 eastbound; then follow I-94 directions.

Parking:

• A circular driveway on Oak Street is available for drop-offs.
• Two 15-minute meters are available at the Oak St. entrance.
• An underground tunnel connects the Center to the adjacent 500-car University Avenue Parking Ramp. The ramp is located north west of the Center. Note: University Avenue is a one-way street heading east. The ramp charges $2.50 per hour.

• A second tunnel connects the Center to the Radisson Hotel that is adjacent to the Washington Avenue Parking Ramp. The ramp charges $2.50 per hour.
• Events at the Alumni Center may qualify for special event parking rates. Please inquire directly with Event Management staff.
• Metered street parking is available along Oak and Walnut Streets.
• Two handicapped parking spaces are available at the Center's entrance on Oak Street.
